Be Do Have
“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.” ~Tolle
Found this in my journal from December 2012 and just had to share…
Got a stomach bug last night and my dad helped me out with the baby and my son was sick too. So grateful for him. My husband as well. He came home from work around 9:30 pm… made me soup, put the baby to bed and on top of that woke up with me at 6 am because my tummy was hurting really bad. He got me some warm water and a heating pad, all while carrying the baby in one arm, because she woke up too.
Needless to say, I am so very thankful for those that mean the most to me.
Hence, one of my favorite quotes :
“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.”
~Eckhart Tolle
Journaling is one of my favorite things to do. It always gives me that extra “look through” for the day and makes me see all the good that happened. When you can focus on all the “absolute” good, the “bad” melts away and becomes a lesson.
So, the question…How do you Be Do Have? To be honest, it’s probably the most difficult thing to configure and follow.. and it can only be done with practice and recognition of your every thought and every action. It brings you to a place of being in peace, doing in peace, so that you can have in peace. The doors start to open that you never knew where there.
Wanting to have, so that you can do, so that you can be, seems like the obvious way.
But, just really sit down and think about that. You can’t, right? It really has to come from deep down inside. Just imagine being that kind person with no anger, allowing others to be who they need to be, and letting go.
Another way to think about it:
We go to school, to learn(Be), so that we can venture out(Do), so that we can make the living(Have) the life that we deserve.
So, you’re probably going, “why is she the expert?”. I’m not. I’m always looking and searching to keep my mind exercised by reading and being engaged with like minded people. In life, we are always learning. It never stops. Some of those books are listed to the right of this blog.
Be encouraged, Be in tune with your surroundings… So that you can BE, DO, HAVE.
